It's also worth noting that if a wooden floor seems overly springy in a bathroom, you may want to try lifting a corner of it near to the bath or shower to make sure there isn't an underlying problem with rot.
Q: I have a wooden floor in bathroom can I put floor tiles on it? - Michael
A: Yes, although make sure you use a flexible adhesive and grout as wooden floors have more movement that some surfaces. You can also get additives for powdered grout if you prefer mixing your own. Make sure the floor is also clean and dry, and sand it a little if it's been previously painted or varnished. We have a basic tiling guide on the site here.
