This is OK for the old fashioned T&G glued laminate, but most is now supplied as 'click' together sections. The problem is that you have to handle a section the whole length of the room so that the ends are already joined as they will not join to each other at a shallow angle. If you work alone like me, this can be difficult (but not impossible) on rooms using 5 lengths of laminate of more. In the past, on longer floors, I have shaved the upper lip off the end joiner, so that I can slide the section horizontally and join it with a dab of glue to the next section. Anyone have a better method?
