Decorating - Hanging Wallpaper - Papering corners
Required Tools: Workbench, Tape Measure, Wallpaper Paste, Plumb Line
- Measure the distance between the last piece of paper and the corner of the room. Measure the width of this at the top, bottom and middle of the wall. Add 1/2 an inch to the largest value to allow some paper to turn onto the next wall.
- Cut your paper to this width, then paste and hang it. Keep the off cut from this length. Turn the extra paper onto the next wall and smooth it carefully into the corners so as not to rip or damage the paper.
- Measure the width of the off cut. Measure this distance from the corner of the wall and use the plumb line to draw a vertical on the wall. Hang this paper aligning the right hand edge of the length with the vertical line on the wall. It will overlap the paper from the corner piece- try to match any pattern as closely as possible. Complete the rest of the wall as usual.
